kona wind love
Ishle Yi Park
when he loves me, I doze
& pop cherries.
when he
leaves me,
I forget to eat,
sing sad songs & lullabies,
make my voice soar thru sorrow
sing thru pain ‘til
earlybirds coo with dawn's greylight.
I feel solid,
anchored by
his seed,
waiting for him to dock
instead of passing me
by
like a
fleeting
ship at
sea...can
feel us
pushing &
pulling like
magnets,
testing,
circling like
hawks, lions,
mating &
pacing
a feline dance,
leave nothing to chance ~
let not a day pass
without a
whisper, a caress,
a prayer, a snarl
over the gold savannah ~
a hot wind blows
